Fireforce Jet Car
Fireforce 3 is a world record-breaking Jet Funny Car, clocking the fastest terminal speed of any jet powered car on the planet at Santa Pod's Easter Thunderball 2005.

The Chevrolet Lumina bodied machine has a Pratt and Whitney JFTD12A (J60) engine from a Sikorsky CH-54A Skycrane Helicopter in its chrome-moly constructed chassis. This develops over 5000lbs of thrust and approximately 10,000hp, as it guzzles 120 litres of aviation fuel per appearance on track!

The driver experiences mind boggling G forces in this machine, with up to 4G during acceleration and up to 7G negative during deceleration.

The stopping power of this incredibly fast car comes from two quad form parachutes used in conjunction with independent hydraulic brakes systems. The car is driven using throttle / afterburner control to determine the thrust from the jet. FireForce runs approximately 30 weekends in a year with an average of 2-3 runs per weekend.

Drag Demos
Also on track will be a selection of the craziest drag vehicles out there, including some of the Europes fastest Jap cars from the HKS Drag Series, some incredible wheelie-popping Vee Dubs, and of course some thundering mega-power national drag racers including 6-second FIA/MSA Pro Mods. Drifting
Drifting is one of the UK’s fastest growing motor sports and is certainly an amazing spectacle to behold. This style of driving is not for the faint hearted, watching the drivers throwing their cars around the arena, with constant high revs and rear wheels spinning as the car glides inches away from obstacles under extreme control and frightening precision.

The drift track is BACK! And it's bigger, better and hosted by even better drifters than ever. What you are about to witness is some stunning skills from the UK's top drivers, and more cooked tyres than your average night down at Tesco carpark. Drift cars need to pack mega power, so most use engines between 400 and 800bhp, and the skill is getting the most extreme angle of attack, while also keeping the speeds up too.
