SHOW & SHINE 2010 WINNERS Best of Show - Rob Sarson – 1993 Toyota Supra Love-it or hate-it looks, but undeniable quality and comprehensive modifications that ran through every nut and bolt. This car was as clean under the bonnet as it was in the cabin and even on the underside. Trying to find fault with the car was like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Show & Go - Rich Booth – 1996 Honda Civic Show points: 185, Go points: 116 A show winner in its own rights, this car has a great stripped-out carbon-clad interior, eye-popping paint and mega-tidy engine bay.
Best Retro - Geoff Skinner – 1982 VW Golf mk1 A great car all-round that sat beautifully on huge Audi wheels. Retro touches and modern innovation perfectly blended.
Best Interior - Tony Scullion – 2001 Peugeot 206cc A multi-award winning car that is a real “best of show” contender, but the unique interior really leaves you stunned.
Best Exterior - Paul Whitlam – 2003 Vauxhall Astra Coupe An automotive artwork with an Astra for a canvas! This paintjob was a labour of love and finished to the highest standards.
Best Race Car - Andy Tucker – 1997 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS A fairly standard but exceptionally well looked-after car.
Best Wheels - Liam Elmore – 1995 Honda Civic A real contender for “Best of Show”, this car had amazing mods all round, but the multi-spoked wheels were totally unique and immediately drew the eye for a closer look.
Best Engine - Nick Bowers – 2004 Vauxhall Corsa Gold and white engine bay with cool camo hoses and spotlessly clean.
Judges Choice - Mark Lampard – 2000 Honda S2000 A great car all-round, but now featuring a fully-integrated Apple iPad for powering all ICE and sat-nav functions!
Best ICE - Ian Pinder – 1991 Vauxhall Astra Van A monster ICE install that literally had the whole car shaking, but with a good presentation and high quality, it was a worthy winner.
Most Radical - Clare Scott – 1985 Ford Escort Cabriolet Reiuger F40 A regular USC car that has received a recent refresh with blinding white paint, crazy bodykit, chromed snakeskin alloys and lots of unusual touches.
