A wet USC is not necessarily a washout! That is one thing that USC 2010 proved decisively, despite a ropey weather forecast, the fun-forecast for the weekend was looking decidedly sunny, and thousands of modified car nuts descended on Santa Pod for three days of the legendary USC spirit.
USC 2010 will bring different memories to different people, and there really was something for everyone at the show. For serious petrolheads there was plenty to see and do: Racing, show cars, Run What Ya Brung, dyno, drifting, monster trucks, freestyle motocross, and even a burnout competition!
For those who were there for the party, there was just as much to get excited about: Roll Deep, Artful Dodger, DJ Luck and MC Neat all took to the Fuel Stage. Slinky took over the Big Top on Friday night and the place was then filled with foam for an amazing party hosted by BCM on Saturday night. MC battles, scratch DJs and grimy garage also filled the air, and there was no shortage of people willing to take their clothes off either! Whether you were into girls or boys, there was something to gawp at with XXX shows, poledancers, a male strip show, promo-girls by the truckload and even a large percentage of the audience left their modesty at the gates!
But USC has some serious winners that deserve their names in lights, and there’s no better place to start than on the track in the RWYB competition. Over 1,000 cars hit the track over the 3 days of USC and so to rise to the top of the pile is no mean feat. The following drivers have cemented themselves into USC legend:

In the Show & Shine competition, over 120 cars registered and put on a stunning display in front of the Fuel Stage, giving the judges the usual thankless task of picking the best from an excellent bunch.

On Saturday night the legendary Mr & Miss USC competitions took place, and through a series of gruelling rounds, the winners were the last left standing. Mr USC was announced as Derrick Faulkner, who proved his prowess through press-ups, downing competitions and his sexy pants! Miss USC was split between two sisters! Emma Louise & Laura Cardill took the trophy after a frantic session of clothes swapping, gymnastics, underwear-flashing! Virtual Miss USC, Lisa from Birmingham also made a welcome appearance to collect her trophy and compete in the live Miss USC competition too.
The burnout competition was won by Kent Kruzin, who used a monster-power Supra to smoke some rather expensive tyres… smoking the engine bay in the process! But the commitment to the cause won them the love of the audience who cheered wildly in appreciation!
The flame-out competition was down on numbers for this year, but Charlie in his Nissan 200 kept the crowd happy with a monster flame from his drift-wagon.
Back on track, and it was the final round of the 2010 Euro Sports Compact demonstration race series, where Andy Waite was out in his 9-second Golf to secure the championship, and James Hodson was out in his Golf chasing the runner-up spot. As it turned out, these two drivers ended up in the final together, James losing to Andy by a fraction of a second- it was the perfect summary of an exciting season!
